Cultural Programme, ’Ek shaam Jagjit Singh Ke naam’ (An Evening Dedicated to Jagjit Singh), to Inspire People towards Blood Donation
To inspire people towards the cause of blood donation, Help UEducational & Charitable Trust organized a cultural programme, ’Ek shaam Jagjit Singh Ke naam’ (An evening dedicated to Jagjit Singh) on May 19,2013 at Sant Gadge Auditorium, Sangeet Natak Academy, Gomti Nagar, Lucknow. Shri Mithlesh Lucknawi appealed to the audience to donate blood while singing Jagjit Singh’s ghazals and bhajans. The chief guests of the programme were Smt Rita Bahugana Joshi Ji, former Secretary, UPCC and former MLC; Chief Guest, Honourable Shri Naved Siddiqui Ji, State Minister, Uttar Pradesh Government; Honourable Dr. Shri D. P. Bora Ji, former MLC; Special Guests Shri Pankaj Bora Ji, Chairman, BIMS; Dr. Shri Neeraj Bora Ji, Chairman, All India Vaishya Federation; Shri M. K. Gupta Ji, Zonal Manager, Bank of India also contributed significantly towards increasing awareness among people regarding blood donation. They said blood donation could give life to someone battling for life and that blood donation is the supreme of all the donations one can make. The organization of the programme was facilitated by contributions of Bank of India, Ghar Hotel, Hardoi and Chote Lal Radhey Shyam, Lucknow.
Rallies to Stop Female Foeticide and Crime Against Women
Help U Educational & Charitable Trust organized a rally on April 28, 2013 against the blatant injustice inflicted on women and increasing incidents of female foeticide. Beginning from Shahid Smarak, the rally went on to Mahatma Gandhi Pratima, Hazratganj. It was flagged off by Honourable Dr. Shri Neeraj Bora Ji, Chairman, All India Vaishya Foundation and Smt Bindu Bora Ji, Social Activist. Around 200 people from the city participated in the rally with great enthusiasm with an aim to stop the horrible crime. Eminent participants included Smt Anupama Singh Ji, Anupama Foundation, Dr. Smt Alpana Bajpayee Ji, Professor, Lucknow University, Prof Shri Neeraj Jain Ji, Professor, Lucknow University, Officials of Punjab National Bank, Shri Harsh Vardhan Agarwal, Founder Trustee, Help U Trust, and Dr. Smt Rupal Agarwal, Managing Trustee, Help U Trust. A Play, ‘Aakhir Kab Tak’ to make an appeal to masses to stop Domestic Violence Against Women
Help U Educational & Charitable Trust organized a play, ‘Aakhir Kab Tak’, directed & staged by Shri Mahendra “Bheeshm”, on December 22, 2013 in BM Shah Theatre, BNA Campus, Gomti Nagar, Lucknow with an aim to inspire people to stop the increasing instances of domestic violence against women.
The programme was inaugurated by the Chief Guest, Honourable Shri N. D. Beti Bachao Drive
Help U Edicational & Charitable Trust supported the drive “Beti Bachao” by I-Next and on 29.9.2014 the members of Help U Trust took oath for saving girls. Shri Rajiv Tandon, Bank of India, Shri K P S Chauhan and Smt Vandana Chauhan also supported them in this noble cause.
Under this drive, Help U Educational & Charitable Trust organized a rally on “Beti Bachao”. Help U Educational & Charitable Trust organized a Workshop on “Malnutrition among Children and Women in India” on July 28, 2013 in Capital Centre, Hazratganj. Experts brought about the gravity of the situation of malnutrition among women and children in India. They highlighted the negative effects of malnutrition and showed ways out of it too.
Health Camp for creating Awareness for Cleanliness
A Health Camp was organized in Gomti Nagar to inculcate awareness among children towards cleanliness. Children were taught the merits of good health here. Nutritious & wholesome food for children was also distributed here.

Help U Trust organized an ‘Awareness Camp’ on November 24, 2013 in Capital Centre, Hazratganj for abolition of child labour. The evils of getting petty jobs done by children from poor backgrounds in the city were highlighted. An appeal was made to all the parents not to play with the children’s future.
Bharat Bhavna Divas
“Sahara India Parivar” organized Bharat Bhavna Divas on May 6, 2013, wherein around 11 lakh employees working in 4,512 offices of Sahara India Parivar participated in it. A Voters’ Awareness Campaign ‘Vote For Nation, Vote For You’ To Awaken The Voters & Raise The Importance Of Voting Among Voters
Uttar Pradesh Election Commission in association with Help U Educational and Charitable Trust organized a programme‘Vote For Nation, Vote For You’ to increase the awareness of importance of voting. The campaign was started on April 8, 2014 in differenct districts of Uttar Pradesh & went on till May 3, 2014.
To increase awareness towards voting, our artists presented their musical performance and and short plays in the programme ‘Vote For Nation, Vote For You’. They appealed to the voters to cast their votes in the forthcoming Lok Sabha elections.

A Play “Gaj Foot Inch” to make an appeal to parents to get their children free to choose their career
Culture Department, Uttar Pradesh in association with Help U Educational and Charitable Trust organized a play “Gaj Foot Inch”, written by Padamshree Late Shri K P Saxena Ji and directed by Shri Sangam Bahuguna Ji, on 31.10.2014 at Saint Gandge Auditorium, Sangeet Natak Academy, Vipin Khand, Gomti Nagar, Lucknow. This play was presented by Yuva Utthan Samiti. This play was organized to make parents aware to give total freedom to their children to choose their career. Written in 1980, Gaj Foot Inch is a successful effort of Padamshree Shri K P Saxena Ji to show the real picture of the values, hopes and desires of the society of that time.
The Chairmanship of the programme was done by Dr (Smt) Saroj Srivastava, Senior Gynecologist. Uttar Pradesh Culture Department in association with Help U Educational & Charitable Trust organized a programme “Help U Ki Ek Shaam – Awadh Ke Naam” under the monthly cultural programme “Help U – Silsila Ek Sahyog Ka” on 28.12.2014 at Saint Gadge Auditorium, Sangeet Natak Academy, Vipin Khand, Gomti Nagar, Lucknow. The main purpose of the programme was to present some hidden facts about Awadh in front of audience.
In this programme, Shaan – E – Awadh of the programme Shri Vivek Prakash (Lucknow Mahotsav Title Song Fame) mesmerized the audience with his bhajans and ghazals. In the second phase of the programme, Mehman – E – Khaas Dr Shri Yogesh Praveen told about the culture and tahzeeb of Lucknow to audience. In the third phase of the programme, the artistes of Yuva Utthan Samiti performed Awadhi Comedy Play “Gajbe Gajab” that is a great satire on social superstitions and old beliefs and made us believe on the famous quote of Adi Shankaracharya Ji “Prasanachirait Parmatm Darshnam”. Culture Department, Uttar Pradesh in association with Help U Educational & Charitable Trust organized second cultural programme “Help U Sanskritik Sandhya Ke Rang – Kinnao Ke Sang” under the monthly cultural programme “Help U – Silsila Ek Sahyog Ka” on Saturday, 24.01.2015 at Saint Gadge Auditorium, Sangeet Natak Academy, Vipin Khand, Gomti Nagar, Lucknow. The main purpose of the programme was to make an appeal to make kinnars as the part of this society. The Chief Guest of the programme was Hon’ble Justice Shri Sabihul Hasnain Ji, High Court.
In the first phase of the programme, Ms Sufalta Tripathi, Lucknow, UP sang “Apne Angan Ki Bagiya Ke Hum Bhi To Ek Phool The” and Ms Seema and Rakhi Agarwal, Lucknow, UP presented the song “Re Kumhar”. Ms Geetika Vedika from Indore, MP has sung “Adhuri Deh Kyon Mujhko Banaya” and Ms Riya Roj from Ayodhya, UP sang “San Ghaav Hami Ne Pale Hain”. Ms Vashnavi Awasthi of Lucknow, UP sang “Kitna Dukh Hai Is Sansar Me”.
In the second phase of the programme, famous author and writer of famous novel “Kinnar Katha”, Shri Mahendra Awasthi “Bhisma” Ji unveiled the theme of “Kinnar Katha” and made an appeal to give moral support to make kinnars as the part of this society.
In the third phase of the programme, the artistes performed on famous novel “Kinnar Katha”, written by Shri mahendra Awasthi “Bhishma” and directed by Shri Ajay Dwivedi. The artistes made an appeal not to do improper behavior with kinnars and gave the message:

The programme was dedicated to Women Power Line 1090, an initiative taken by Hon’ble Shri Akhilesh Yadav Ji, Chief Minister, Uttar Pradesh to stop increasing crime against women in state.
Chief Guest of the programme was Hon’ble Shri Jagmohan Yadav Ji (IPS), DG, C.B.C.I.D., Uttar Pradesh and Special Guest was Smt. Juhi Singh Ji, Chariperson U.P. Bal Ayog.
In the first phase of the programme, Ms Vibhu Bajpai has performed Bharat Natyam. Her performance was started with Ganesh Stuti and after that Ms Vibhu Bajpai alongwith her companions Ms Anushka Srivastava and Shri Durgesh Kumar Singh performed Mahisasur Mardini and gave a beautiful performance on women empowerment.
In the second phase of the programme, Kunwar Shri Raghvendra Pratap Singh, Incharge, 1090 Women Power Line shared his views about the achievements of Women Power Line 1090 and told about what self-defense techniques taken by women in the condition of harassment. He also told about the crimes done by social networking sites like youtube, google, facebook etc and told the way to tackle these crimes. He said that if anything wrong is done with a girl or women, she should firstly inform her near and dear ones. She should not hesitate to share this with others. In the third phase of the programme, the artistes of Yuva Utthan Samiti performed a Play “Sakhi Saheli – 1090 Hai Albeli’. In this Play, the protagonists show how Women Power Line 1090 is working to stop violence and harassment with women.
Help U Educational & Charitable Trust facilitated three women for taking remarkable step to stop crime against women in the society, Ms Ranjana Agnihotri, Advocate, High Court, Lucknow Bench, Satya Singh Ji, Uttar Pradesh Police, Sunita Tiwari Ji, Uttar Pradesh Police. Shri Mahendra Bhisma, Jt Registrar, High Court, Lucknow Bench threw light on charitable, social and cultural programmes done by Help U Educational & Charitable Trust for the welfare of society.
A Workshop “Swine Flu: Be Aware and Be Alert”
Help U Educational & Charitable Trust organized a Workshop “Swine Flu: Be Aware and Be Alert” on 04.03.2015 at Auditorium – 1, National Post Graduate College, Rana Pratap Marg, Lucknow. The workshop was conducted with the help of NSS, National P G College. The main purpose of the workshop was to make students aware of the symptoms and treatment of Swine Flu and to also tell them how they can save themselves from this fatal disease.
The distinguished guests of the workshop were Hon’ble Dr (Shri) S P Singh Ji, Principal, National Post Graduate College, Hon’ble Dr (Shri) SNS Yadav Ji, Chief Medical Officer, Lucknow, Hon’ble Dr (Shri) Anil Mishra Ji, General Manager, NRHM, Hon’ble Dr (Smt) Amita Jain Ji, Professor, Department of Microbiology, KGMC, Lucknow, Hon’ble Dr (Shri) Avinash Agarwal Ji, Associate Professor, Department of Medicine, KGMC, Lucknow, Hon’ble Dr (Shri) D Himanshu Ji, Assistant Professor, KGMC, Lucknow, Dr (Shri) Vinod Dhawan Ji, Architect, Shri Mahendra ‘Bhishma’ Ji, Joint Registrar, High Court, Lucknow Bench and Shri Harsh Vardhan Agarwal Ji, Founder Trustee, Help U Educational & Charitable Trust. All the distinguished guests throw light on the causes and treatment of Swine Flu.
A short play was also done by the students of National Post Graduate College under the direction of Ms Vashnavi Awasthi. Students also participated in “Question Answer Session” and solved their queries about Swine Flu by distinguished doctor speakers.
Two Educational Activities: A Lecture on “Personality: Indispensable Aspects” and An Interaction on “Gender Equality & Women Empowerment”
“Help U Educational & Charitable Trust in association with National Service Scheme, National PG College organized two educational activities on Thursday, 12.03.2015 at Moti Mahal Lawn, Rana Pratap Marg, Lucknow.
In the first phase, Mrs Vandana Singh Chauhan, Director, Global Centre of Languages gave an lecture on “Personality: Indispensable Aspects”. She told the students about the importance of personality, positive thinking and power of knowledge.
“In the second phase, Chief Guest Hon’ble Smt Sutapa Sanyal Ji, ADGP, Human Rights Coommission/Mahila Samman Prakosth, Uttar Pradesh Police interected with students on “Gender Equality and Women Empowerment”. She told students about parent child bonding, healthy relationship between men and women and various schemes of Uttar Pradesh Government and Police for the welfare of women.
Dr.(Smt) Rupal Agarwal, Managing Trustee, Help U Educational & Charitable Trust appeals to work for the betterment of society and Dr.(Shri) Rakesh Dwivedi, Programme Coordinator, NSS, Lucknow University told about the role of NSS in the development of society. Dr (Shri) S P Singh, Principal, National PG College told about the inner strength and problems of life in students.
A Collage Making Competition was also organized on the spot where students made collage on “Gender Equality and Women Empowerment”. Prizes were distributed among students. The students also presented two short plays.
A Workshop on “Basic Life Support”
Help U Educational & Charitable Trust organized a workshop on “Basic Life Support” on Tuesday, 24.03.2015 at Central Excise & Service Tax office, Ashok Marg, Lucknow. In this workshop, Dr (Smt) Piyali Bhattacharya, SGPGI and Prof Shri G P Singh gave training of initial treatment given to the patient when he got heart attack.
The Chief Guest of the workshop was Hon’ble Shri Ajay Dixit Ji, Commissioner, Central Excise & Service Tax, Lucknow. Dr (Smt) Piyali Bhattacharya and Prof Shri G P Singh told everyone presented there about Basic Life Support and said, “Basic Life Support (BLS) is the level of medical care which is used for victims of life-threatening illnesses or injuries until they can be given full medical care at a hospital. The objective of the Basic Life Support training is to make lay persons aware of the correct technique of giving first aid in emergencies like in cases of heart attack or choking. This is crucial in order to save lives and avoid further damage to vital organs like the heart, kidney and brain.”
